My Favorite Coach Sneakers
Hey Ladies, I'm Tori and I want to say thanks for visiting my Coach Fashion Sneakers for Women review site. I've been a huge fan of Coach for the since since I was in the 9th grade. That was when I got my first Coach piece - a really cute Coach clutch-wallet as a gift from my parents. In the seven years since then, I'v built a pretty nice collection of Coach products, especially bags and accessories. It wasn't until about two year ago that I got hooked on Coach Sneakers. Since wearing Coach Sneakers, I can't tell you how many positive compliments I've gotten. I would have never though sneakers could make such an impact. Well, I hope you might find my Coach Sneakers highlights and reviews helpful. ~~~ Love, Tori
Some of my visitors have asked my what my favorite Coach Sneaker lines are. I currently own some of them, others are on my wishlist - I consider all of them fabulous nonetheless. I'm always happy to share ; )
#1 Coach Brendi Sneakers
I’m liking my Coach Brendi Sneakers a lot because I’m a Coach fan in general and have been for more than 8 years. I would describe Coach products as classically cool while being fun, funky and functional at the same time. And gorgeous, did I mention that? So when I’m shopping (which I obviously do a lot) and I see the Coach logo on an item, it grabs my attention and I instantly start fishing around in my purse looking for my debit card. Half the time I end up leaving the store with a Coach shopping bag on my arm and something that smells like leather inside the bag.
Anyhow, I got that same “must have” feeling when I saw these Brendi Sneakers for the first time. I love the wide, soft, cotton shoelaces and the jacquard khaki/ chestnut/ brown print. Even though I’m not always wild over hightop sneakers, these have a definite funk factor which turns them into a look-at-me accessory rather than just comfy footgear for a Saturday shopping marathon.
Speaking of comfort, the only slightly negative factor about my Brendis is that when I first put them on they felt a bit stiff in the ankle area, but after an hour of shopping at the mall they had already started to cuddle my feet. Now they’re part of my go-to shopping uniform on comfort level alone, never mind how great they look! Click here to check price
#2 Coach Neala Fashion Sneakers
My friend Lauren swears by her Coach Neala sneakers. She says they are like walking on puffs of air and they’re so lightweight she can walk for hours without her feet getting tired. So like any good fashionista I had to snag myself a pair. I had to see for myself if her glowing recommendation for this style sneaker was just bubbly Lauren being bubbly Lauren, or if she was right about the Neala's and they were more comfortable than other sneakers (including high-end, pricey, sneakers endorsed by the sports-star flavor of the month!)
I tried a pair and I have to say, Lauren definitely picked a winner. The Coach Neala Fashion Sneakers are amazingly comfortable, lightweight and sweet to the core. They have the signature Coach fabric on the outside and the exceptional materials and workmanship I’ve learned to expect from any Coach product.
Because these sneakers have a mesh-type fabric top, your feet can breathe. I promise, you can wear them all day long and still kick them off and curl up on the couch with your boyfriend without a whiff of sneaker smell to be found anywhere in the room. And the fact that they breathe means your feet keep cool and dry while you’re hot on the trail of the next big bargain as you mall-hop your way through the weekend. The fact that they are awesome to look at means you don’t have to save this pair of sneakers for yoga pants and an oversize tee. You can wear them with anything except that old bridesmaid dress way in the back of your closet. Nothing looks good with that. For the current lowest price, click here
#3 Coach Hope Sequined Sneakers
True story: My sister spent a week gluing sequins onto a cheapo pair of white sneakers so she could wear something comfortable during what she called the “fun” part of her wedding – the dancing, partying part. She finally retired them after baby number three. Needless to say when I came across this fashion find -- Coach Hope Sequined Sneakers-- I snatched up a pair to give to her, but had to get a pair for me too! (Unlike my sister’s homemade jobbers, these sneakers are Coach-classy and so “in” they’re singing “bling’s the thing.”)
There’s no doubt, sequins and shine have come back to the fashion forefront with a vengeance for 2012. Designers of tees, jackets, jeans, even swimsuits are adding some sparkle to everyone’s personality with the use of shimmer and sequins as trendy trim on everyday clothing and accessories.
Naturally Coach with their quality materials and sophisticated styling are doing up the sparkly-sneaker look like no one else. Coach uses teeny-weeny, micro sequins and a rich, suede trim that creates a tone-on-tone effect that makes these sneakers twinkle in the light. Coach has taken a subtle approach to the design so your sneakers shine, but with an elegance that says you’re all about glamour without a hint of glitz
.
At first I worried that the sequins would fall off during normal wear and tear, but I’m happy to report not a missing sequin and I wear them frequently. Oh, and try to find a pair of these sought after sparkle sneakers and you’ll be on a quest because they’re selling out everywhere, so be prepared for the hunt. Check today's low price here
#4 Coach Brodi Signature and Leather Sneakers Khaki Plum
Comfort and chic styling can go hand in hand, which is obvious in Coach brand Brodi sneakers. They are made with Coach’s signature jacquard fabric which has a distinctive pattern made from of a bunch of “Cs” (you’ll know it when you see it) and tells everyone this is a fine, designer-made, Coach accessory. (I admit, initially, I had to look up the word “jacquard “when I first saw it used for a Coach product and all it means is a fabric with a really cool, intricate pattern that’s most often woven into the fabric.)
Styled like a tennis shoe, the Brodi is neat and sweet. It has high-quality patent leather trim and a really cool racing-stripe detail on the rubber sidewalls. Luxury laces help you adjust the fit to meet the needs of your own feet. For me this means a great fit even though I have a narrow heel and a high arch. The Coach Brodi is a comfort shoe and not just beautiful on the outside. Inside you can find a thick, padded footbed that helps your feet get through a long day of shopping without tiring them out. Your feet stay perky, so you can slap on some heels for night-time fun knowing your tootsies have been babied and coddled all day long. To buy a pair of Brodi's click here
#5 Coach Signature Fizzle
Coach’s high top Fizzle sneakers sizzle. There’s no better word I can think of for how hot this style is. They’re so hot I have a pair on order and have to wait to get them in my size! I sure hope they are as comfortable to wear as they are awesome to look at. The Fizzle’s got ‘tude to spare with the addition of the tough-girl, double metal buckles on the ankle, never mind the cool, embossed black leather accents like the collar at the top of the ankle. These sneakers are sweet alright, but in a “don’t muck with me” sort of way and the sidewalls have that cool Coach stripe I adore.
I’ve seen fashionistas wearing Coach Fizzles, and they pair them with black tights and either a tunic top or an oversized tee. I’ve also seen Fizzles worn with a filmy, feminine-styled dress. This fashion fusion of heat and sweet – a smidgeon of footwear vixen to contrast with a girly-girl frock—is a look that is definitely trending for spring and summer wear. Thinking about a pair for yourself? Click here
The buckles are cool, but yes--you do have to take a second more out of your day to fasten them. It’s not hard and you can set the alarm a minute earlier if you have to, because it’s the buckles that take a good looking, well made sneaker and turn it into a fashion statement for 2012 and beyond.
#6 Coach Women's Ellis Signature Hightop Sneakers
Uptown, downtown and all around town you can safely wear your Coach Ellis hightop sneakers knowing you have an abundance of the coolness factor on your feet. The soft wide laces, deluxe leather trim and Coach’s signature jacquard styling make this sneaker a standout where ever you’re standing. And in these sneakers, you can stand for a long time without a pinch or twinge in even your most sensitive toe. (I have a hypersensitive pinky toe that makes any kind of shoe buying a bit scary because not all shoes accommodate the need for little more space around my crabby pinky toe.)
Another concern I had when I saw these Ellis hightops was just what am I going to wear these sneakers with? They have such a stand-out appearance I worried my feet would take center stage and my outfit would end up in the “green room” of my fashion statement. That has never happened, and my Ellis sneakers and my outfits have gained applause. Phew!
If you really want to make a statement, put on a pair of Ellis hightops with black skinny jeans, a graphic tee and sport a Lisbeth Salander haircut (the character from The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest) and you’ll be the epitome of pop culture with a sophisticated twist--no tattoos or piercings required by the way. My grandfather used to sing a song, badly, called “I’ll Take You Home Again Kathleen.” I think he liked that song so much because Kathleen was my grandmother’s name, but whatever the reason, I can sing that song now too. I just bought a pair of the Coach Kathleen sneakers and I totally love them. Can I possibly justify buying another pair for a spare? I’m not sure but I think I’ll cry if these ever wear out.
Okay, so what is so cool about these basic tennis shoes you ask? Here’s my take: I love the sweet grosgrain ribbon trim. Ribbon trim is so hot right now you’re seeing it everywhere including woven in hair extensions! Combining the textural elements of grosgrain ribbon with a khaki jacquard upper, chocolate-colored suede and patent leather (just like the Mary Janes you wore when you were a kid) was a brilliant move on the part of Coach designers. These elements create a nostalgic edge to a trendy almost op-art appearance. The end result is a seriously gorgeous sneaker that you might just want to save pristine and unsmudged for casual date nights.
For me these sneakers would be the ultimate if they only had that side sole stripe I seem to love so much. But I have to say I barely miss it when I look at the patent leather and grosgrain ribbon detailing which is heart-stealing sweet.
#8 Coach Keeley Denim
I
can’t buy these. I’m on a forced denim diet because everyone tells me I wear way too much denim to be called a fashionista. So I’m trying hard to stay away from these denim cuties, styled like a tennis shoe but fashioned out of a dark-denim canvas with Coach written in script on the side.
Gorgeous white sidewalls with a flashy, blue stripe and stitching in a light, tannish-yellow color add sass to the blue denim upper and completes the look of a sneaker anyone would want to wear. How cute these would look with a denim mini or jean shorts. But thinking outside of the box, picture them with khaki pants and a berry-colored tee – now you’re talking fashionista talk.
The cotton twill lining helps to wick moisture away from your foot and adds more comfort to the already comfortable footbed too. Not that I know firsthand, but my friend Lauren has a pair and she says they are sturdy yet comfy as a slipper and feel great on – not hot or steamy like some sneakers. She says her feet feel safe and sound in these sneakers which means she feels even if someone steps on her foot her feet are protected. I think that’s her way of describing quality footwear. She also told me that these sneakers are slip-ons – no shoe tying necessary and no shoelaces to trip on! My favorite spot for Keeley's is Amazon.
